Holiday Wish List 2

We asked our bloggers what was on their wish list for the holiday season, and here’s what they shared:

Russell Stitzlein, MD

For this year:

1. An uneventful second half to my PGY-2 consult year.

2. A strong performance on my Orthopaedic Intraining Examination (OITE)!

Long term:

1. Opportunity to complete an orthopaedic oncology fellowship.

2. Opportunity to find the “perfect” job which allows me to have a busy clinical practice with access to research opportunities and support as well the opportunity to teach future generations of orthopaedic surgery residents.

Niket Sonpal, MD

The top medico gifts this season would be:

1. Medelita lab coat – teflon coated so the blood doesn’t stain you

2. Littman Bluetooth stetho…lets you share heart sounds for teaching

3. Parker Ingenuity pen – writes so good…makes doctors handwriting legible…

Jason Franasiak, MD

My holiday wish list and my hope for the new year is that I will be able to take good care of patients in their pursuit of their family goals, ask and answer research questions that improve the way that we take care of patients, and strive for the ever elusive balance between personal and professional endeavors.
